Do I need an account to place an order?

You can shop at Tilda Knopf without creating an account. All you need is an e-mail address to start the order process.

If you have forgotten your password and „password123“ is also not the right one, please click here. Enter your e-mail address and you will then receive an e-mail containing a new password. Please find the option, to change and personalize your password in your account..


I found a similar dress on a different site and it was cheaper. What´s up with that?

Has someone been browsing on a large site, where you could buy a 20’s dress and a washing machine in the same order? Our dresses are all uniquely designed and handcrafted. We take good care in selecting our fabric and beads. The dresses are therefore unique and from a high quality, just like in the good old days. Should you only want to pay a small amount of money for a similar style you have seen on our site, do us a favour and stay away from the fire when wearing one of these polyester rags, because these bad boys burn quickly.

Are the slip-dresses included when I purchase a dress?

Yes, all our slips come complementary with our dresses.

Can I also purchase Tilda Knopf offline?

Located in the heart of Berlin Friedrichshain, it is not only the home of TILDA KNOPF but also the 1920´s costume rental shop LE BOUDOIR. A little gem to shop for the perfect flapper dress but where you also have the opportunity to rent the dresses, if you only want to have one fabulous night out.

I have a voucher code. How do I use it?

You can enter your voucher code, once you have proceeded to checkout. Please enter the code in the appropriate box.

The dress I want is out of stock. Why do you cause me so much pain?

We are sorry that your beloved dress is currently out of stock. Fear not, the moment you are reading this, your dress is being manufactured and restocked. Please keep in mind that all of our dresses are handmade and can take up to six weeks until they are back in stock. You can also send us an e-mail at:  orders@tildaknopf.com so we can inform you as soon as the dress is back up on the site.

Do you rent clothing?

We do not rent out clothing online. BUT, if you happened to live in Berlin or close by, you can visit our Le Boudoir Shop. Our offline boutique where you also have the opportunity to rent the dresses, if you only want to have one fabulous night out.

How do I take care of my garment / wash it?

- Your garment is handmade and therefore very delicate. Try cleaning it as little as possible. also try to avoid dry cleaning.
- Should you see a loose thread, do not pull on it. We repeat – do not pull on the thread or tears will roll. The sequins are held together with a delicate thread, by pulling you could unleash the entire row.
- Secure loose threads by making a double knot.
- Hang outside for a day or two in order to get rid of restaurant / bar smells.
- Your garment has a stain? Try spot-cleaning first.
- Turn your item inside out before you wash it.
- DO NOT wash your garments in the washing machine.
- Wash your dress by hand. Use cool water and a detergent designed for hand washing.
- Leave to soak for 20 minutes – use time to drink a glass of champagne.
- DO NOT rub firmly, twist or wring.
- DO NOT tumble dry.
- Lay to flat dry.
- Garments decorated with glass beads prefer to be stored like vampires – in the dark.
- Take off your jewelry while getting dressed.
- Put on your dress and feel fabulous.

Can I change my order or cancel it after I received the confirmation email?

As long as your order has not been fully processed, some changes are possible. Please contact  orders@tildaknopf.com immediately and we will try our best to help you!

I placed my order but I am not sure if it was successful. Since I have not received an order confirmation.

If you are registered check your order status in your account. If you have not received an e-mail within the next two hours, please contact customer service under:  onlineshop@tildaknopf.com. Please also make sure to check your spam folder.

I made a mistake filling in my delivery/billing address-what can I do?

No worries, we all make mstitakes. In that case please contact us under  onlineshop@tildaknopf.com with your correct information. Please also include your order number.

Will there be a customs charge?

If you do not live within the European Union, custom fees may be charged for your imported items. Please note, that the duties and taxes are not included in the price.

I choose Pick Up delivery. How does it work?

Customers from Berlin and the surrounding area are more than welcome to pick up their order at the Le Boudoir Boutique in Berlin. The address is: Boxhagenerstrasse 110, 10245 Berlin. You can also return your order at the store. Please note, that the Boutique is open be appointment only.

When will my order be shipped?

All orders placed before noon will usually be dispatched on the same day. The delivery takes between 3-5 business days to reach you for domestic orders. International orders might take longer.

Do you offer same-day delivery?

At the moment we do not offer same-day delivery. We are currently working on a same-day delivery solution. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Where is my order?

Your event is coming up and you really need as much time as possible to find the perfect shoes to match your dress. We understand. Check your confirmation e-mail. It contains all the information you need to know. If you have an account you can also check the status of your order by logging into your account.

My package has still not arrived. What do I do?

If your package hasn´t arrived after seven business days and your tracking information hasn´t revealed what happened, please contact:  onlineshop@tildaknopf.com immediately.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only accept orders for delivery within the European Union, Great Britain, Switzerland, Canada, United States of America and the Russian Federation.


RETURNS & REFUNDS

Are returns free?

This is 2018, of course returns are free.

What is your return policy?

We would like to see you happy with our products. If for any reason your items were faulty, damaged or simply not what you had in mind, just send it back to us. You can return your order within 14 days of your delivery date using our free returns service. All items must be return in excellent condition. The dresses must be unworn and all labels need to be attached.

How do I return my order?

You can return your order within 14 days of your delivery date using the pre-paid return label which came with your order. All items must be returned in excellent condition. Dresses, slips and shoes must be unworn and all labels need to be attached.


How long will it take for my returned funds to show in my account?

As soon as your package has arrived back with us and is in the correct condition, we will action any refund within 14 Days. We will then send you the refund confirmation. Please do not panic, if your bank account does not show the amount right after receiving our email. Sometimes it takes a little longer for the funds to show in your account, this depends on your bank. Please also note, should you have paid with Paypal your Paypal account will be credited.
